TTT·Gotta get back to Hogwarts

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

(in honor of school starting back up soon, come up with your own topic that fits the theme of school or learning! Books that take place at school/boarding school/during study abroad, books you read in school, textbooks you liked/didn’t like, non-fiction books you loved or want to read, etc.)

  1. Harry Potter by JK Rowling… you can’t talk about school and not mention this
  2. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. The MC goes through everything to get into The University and then everything to stay on it
  3. Wayward Children by Seanan McGuire, a boarding school for children who went to magical worlds and had to come back. Reviews for 1, 2, and 3

  5. Simon VS the Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli happens in highschool so it goes here! My post
  6. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, at least on the first book they are still at the boarding school….

      1. Hahaha it happens. Sometimes I’ll be reading a blog and they post about summer reading and I go “it’s 0 degrees… what are you doing…”

  1. Ooh Heartsopper caught my eye as I recently read Radio Silence by the same author, and loved it. THUG of course is supposed to be SO good, and The Name of the Wind- another good one. Even though I haven’t read it, I know from conversations that the university plays a big role. And of course HP 🙂
    Great list!
