BBHop-That’s a classic

About the Book Blogger Hop by Coffee Adicted Writer

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, I relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question:.

Do you read classics? If so, what is your favorite?

Very rearely, I don’t know why but the mood for classic literature is rare

My favorite, and one I’ve talked about a lot in this blog is The Symposium by Plato. Even if you are not much opf a fan of greek philosophy you can enjoy this book.-

This week I hopped to:

Did you know that we are in NaNoWriMo? If you are like me and trudging through putting down words every day then I recommend check out NovelKnight’s tips for surviving NaNo, from one writer to another

Hannah has a really interesting discussion post about how we show immaturity on YA, or how we avoid it. She has some great points and some of my favorite writers are quoted.

Jenny has a post on what she wishes non-bloggers knew, based in comment she’s gotten that go from annoying to straight up rude. The post also demystifies some beliefs people have about blogging as a career.

Classics’ Readalong for 2019

You know how, in 2018 I tried to read more classics and failed in an spectacular manner? Well, I’m giving it another chance next year but this time I’m enlisting help!

Mel to the Any and Book Geeks Uncompromised are hosting six classic readalongs along 2019 on what they’ve called #CatchUpOnClassics#CatchUpOnClassics

They’ve already set up all the titles and dates, I’ll be sharing the books but you can check out all the details on the links!

I really like that they not only put on the classics but also one bonus book and the movie adaptations in case you aren’t feeling it

Blogtober- Books I wish I’d read

Blogtober Day 23 and we’re already talking regrets…. okay I have some. Even though I love books and reading all sorts of literature there’s some books that I wish I had already read. They are probably long or I don’t ever feel in the mood to pick them up so this isn’t a TBR, it’s purely books I wish I could have read already

As usual: this prompt comes from the wonderful Jenniely, who is the only reason I’m actually making it through Blogtober without missing a day(fingers crossed!)

Amazon’s “100 Books To Read In A Lifetime”

Okay, I saw this tag back at Books & Munches blog and since I had nothing to post today I’m doing it

Also they tagged everyone who read it so technically I was tagged

Apparently there’s a list of the 100 books you have to read. Normally I say to read whatever you feel like it’s right for you. There isn’t right or wrong literature and you have to watch out for different kinds of readers.

That said, this is a fun tag and we are all here to see how little I’ve read of classic literature.

Summary::
