2020 Bookish Resolutions

The other day I did my 2019 WrapUp and now it’s time to set unrealistic expectations on this new year!

Read 100 books

I’ve said it before and I still stand by it: reading more books doesn’t make you a better reader. This has nothing to do with that, I just want to push myself to read more books in general and I’ve found that having a specific number to work towards really helps me.

I probably won’t get to 100 but however close I get will be good

Post consistently

I’ll be honest, next year is going to be fucking chaotic, even more than the last, I’m planning on moving continents (again) but this time on my own and living all by myself for the first time while handling a full time job… yeah. But I promise I’ll try and keep up with 3-4 posts a week and at least one full review a month!

Get on top of my TBR

Am I having a DejaVu?? No, I’m just constantly trying to do this but between all the new releases I want to read and my habit of always adding new books, my TBR only grows taller and the top is ever farther…

Once again I’m participating on the Beat The Backlist Challenge, this year I’ll try and complete at least the small bingo board! I’ll make a full post about it sometime soon

Read all my ARCs

I have the terrible habit of requesting a lot of ARCs at the same time because I don’t think I’ll get approved and then… I get approved. So this year I will read the coppies as soon as I get them so they won’t have the chance to pile up on me!

TOLKIEN

Have I gone mad? Probably, but my grandpa recently moved to a much smaller house and he gave me his entire Tolkien collection (that also includes a lot of books about Tolkien, not only by him) so now I want to reread the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Sillmarilion and all the short stories and new books.

I may die trying but what a nice way to go
