Trans Books by Trans Authors

Sometimes people are shitty but instead of talking about them I thought it’d be way better for everyone to talk about the people making the literary world a better, more inclusive, place.

I compiled a list of books I’ve read, or I’m going to read, with trans main characters writen by trans authors!

WoW·Woven in Moonlight

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine which spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases.

Listen, it doesn’t matter how far away these books are because I already love them and everyone else should be looking out for them too

I found this book on twitter a while ago but didn’t make a WoW because it was so far away BUT NOW IT’S LESS THAN A MONTH. It looks absolutely amazing and the cover is already one of my 2020 favorites. Next year is gonna be so good you all

ALSO I just got an ARC for this one and I’m in love

40877706. sy475 A lush tapestry of magic, romance, and revolución, drawing inspiration from Bolivian politics and history.

Ximena is the decoy Condesa, a stand-in for the last remaining Illustrian royal. Her people lost everything when the usurper, Atoc, used an ancient relic to summon ghosts and drive the Illustrians from La Ciudad. Now Ximena’s motivated by her insatiable thirst for revenge, and her rare ability to spin thread from moonlight.

When Atoc demands the real Condesa’s hand in marriage, it’s Ximena’s duty to go in her stead. She relishes the chance, as Illustrian spies have reported that Atoc’s no longer carrying his deadly relic. If Ximena can find it, she can return the true aristócrata to their rightful place.

She hunts for the relic, using her weaving ability to hide messages in tapestries for the resistance. But when a masked vigilante, a warm-hearted princess, and a thoughtful healer challenge Ximena, her mission becomes more complicated. There could be a way to overthrow the usurper without starting another war, but only if Ximena turns her back on revenge—and her Condesa.

Thanks to the SpotifyWarpped I found out that people don’t know about these, so today I’m sharing the books you can listen to fully on Spotify

This is obviously NOT sponsored I wish but rather an honest attempt to get audiobooks to more people. They are such a nice way of reading, especially if you can’t stare at a page for whatever reason.

Spotify is also a cheaper alternative to buying each individual book

2019 Best Covers

We are already in December! (I feel like I do this every single month… the passage of time baffles me tbh)

There’s less than a month left of 2019 so I decided to start a series with the best of the 2019 releases

We are starting with COVERS because I’m an aesthetic bitch and I love a good cover…

Do I have any kind of system or ranking? No. I’m like a crow who hoards shiny things, they are all important
