Pick a 2019 release according to your D&D class

This is 100% NOT an original idea although the only reason it caught my attention is because I’ve been playin a fantastic campaing for the better part of this year. SwoonReads (a fantastic platform you should check out if you read YA) posted a list of recs according to your class and I decided to make a series of recs for 2019 releases according to different D&D character choices!

Let’s get started with the fun stuff: Classes!

First of all a couple of clarifications:

  • I’m going off the 5e playbook because that’s what I use
  • I know some people don’t have the different classes memorized that’s why they all have links to the wikipedia articles
  • Only including playable characters this time
  • If you have any other suggestions feel free to tell me in the comments!

Barbarian

35701702. sx318

Bard

35887567. sy475

Cleric

41717246. sy475

Druid

31373184

Fighter

 34723130. sy475

Monk

35105833. sy475

Paladin

29774026. sy475

Ranger

36492488

Rogue

39863498

Sorcerer

43263680

Warlock

36307634. sy475

Wizard

There’s almost no definite criteria for these choices, just feelings and stuff but if you think they are/n’t accurate let me know! (I haven’t read most of these so I’m going by their summaries)

If any of you are curious, my character for the current campaing is an extremely queer agender aasimar, milticlassing monk/cleric (because my party is full of idiots who can’t stop dying) about to get married to our bard, a dashing tiefling with whom we share a mysterious backstory and a son that we adopted along the way–

  1. This is awesome and I love the complexity of your character! My DnD character right now is a rouge wood elf with a pet wolf ❤ I haven't read The Gilded Wolves but seeing as it has a wolf in it, I think it would be pretty much perfect 😂😂
