The Mid-Year Freakout

It’s that time of the year once again and, as usual, it surprised me with too few books on my Read pile therefore: time for a freakout

Best Sequel of 2019 so far?

This one does have a review and you should check out the serires if you haven’t yet, you won’t be dissapointed

New release you haven’t read yet, but want to?

It just looks so pretty and the premise is adorable!

Most anticipated release of the second half of 2019?

I have quite a few but right now I can’t wait for

Biggest disappointment?

I can happily say that I haven’t been dissapointed yet

Biggest surprise?

I wrote a review for this one– If you follow me for a while then you know that I don’t much care for Cassandra Clare’s writing, however I did love this book and have been convinced to read her next series

Favourite new (to me) author?

He isn’t “new” by any stretch of the imagination but this was the first book I’ve read from him so I’ll use that:

Newest fictional crush?

SpiderGwen is a badass and I love her

Newest favourite character?

Cass has a lot on her plate and I love her attitude towards life so she’s my one. Here’s a review for the book

Book that made you cry?

I’m pretty sure I cried with Firestarter…..

Book that made you happy?

I don’t usually read scary books but this one had something that I couldn’t resist: historical facts mixed with fantasy. It’s really short but I enjoyed every page

Favourite book to movie adaptation you’ve seen this year?

I know I’m late but there’s no legal way to watch it in my country, so I watched it on the plane back from London and cried so much my sister was concerned.

Again

for two reasons: first, the story takes place in Edinbrugh and I’ve just been over there so I can see the places mentioned; second, VICTORIA SCHWAB SIGNED IT FOR ME
