What Are You Reading Wednesday·Blanca & Roja

I saw this meme back at The Introverted Booknerd and it goes like this:

What Are You Reading Wednesday was created by RhiannaMarissa, and Kendall. The idea is to create a space for book lovers to share, discuss, and recommend the books they are currently reading and loving. All you have to do is answer the questions about your current read and then head over to one of the host’s sites to link up your post! Have fun and don’t forget to check out everyone’s posts as well!

MY CURRENT READ

Blanca & Roja

1. Why did you decide to pick up this book–cover or content?

Because of the author but, let’s be real, I’d have picked it on the cover alone or the content alone. It has everything

2. Who is your favorite character so far, and why?

Can I pick all of them????

No? Okay…

Then I’ll take Roja. I just feel so connected with her, she’s the younger sister and she always felt like she couldn’t measure up to Blanca and thought the swans would take her and nobody would care.. She’s a tragedy and needs more love in her life.

3. Will you finish this one?

YES, eventually

I’m having really little time to read this days but I do love it and I’m finishing it within this month

4. This book reminds me of…

My family. It’s so good on portraying the relationship between sisters that I just switch the view between Blanca and Roja and myself with my older and little sister all the time.

5. What type of read is this one? (Slow but interesting, cannot put it down…)

I can put it down (because I have to) but it’s a read that you can’t stop thinking about.

Author:

Book lover and hockey goalie from Argentina. Trying to figure life out

  1. Ahhh it’s so great you’re reading this book! I haven’t read anything by this author just yet, but I really want to. I’ve heard great things about all of her books and the fact that this one has sisters at its heart makes me SO impatient to get to it 🙂
