Blogtober Day 19 and going strong! I may just make it.. even if I have to stay awake a couple more hours to schedule enough posts for the week

Thanky you Jenniely for the prompts!

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t own many scented candles… I always feel guilty for using them because they smell good but they are also aesthetically pretty so I want to keep them all new and shiny instead of burning them

Anyways, here’s a list of candles I have and candles I’d buy if I lived in a country where those were a thing

BUT I do have two of them and they are lovely if very different:.

Meet Cute Vanilla Cappuccino Scented Candle by Taken Moons.

The first one came with the Wildest Dreams Subscription Box for June, with the theme Pride. It was based on Simon vs and it was adorable ((This candle smells so nice I want to drink it))

The Hinterland by Wick and Fable

The second candle I have I got through Fairyloot, the February box inspired in Dark Fairytales. This one smells like old books and a forest in winter, I’d love to get lost in the scent..

Now, I’m going on Wick and Fable for Bookish Candles I wish I had:.

• Warm Caramel • Vanilla • Satin •
“She smiled then, her cheeks red, her cheeks scattered with some kind of dust. It was a smile he thought he might die to earn again.”
― Leigh Bardugo, Crooked Kingdom

+ Notes: Warm Caramel, Walnuts, Vanilla
+ Scent Strength: Strong

Inej Ghafa is the queen of my heart and my favorite character in the Six of Crows Duology, but also the description sounds really nice and I’d love to smell it. Props for a pretty desing on the label too!

• Wild Herbs • Fresh Greens • Soft Florals •
“And now leave me in peace for a bit! I don’t want to answer a string of questions while I am eating. I want to think!”

“Good Heavens!” said Pippin. “At breakfast?”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

+ Notes: Wild Herbs, Fresh Greens, Earthy, Rosemary, Lavender, Bergamot
+ Scent Strength: Strong

The Shire just strikes me as the most perfect place in Middle Earth. I did think of Rivendell but The Shire is not only peaceful but also full of joy and life. So I’m choosing this candle from the Tolkien Collection

• Happy Memories • Sun Kissed Citrus • Subtle Woods •

In order for it to work, you need to think of a memory. Not just any memory, a very happy memory, a very powerful memory…
—Remus Lupin’s explanation of a Patronus

+ Notes: Citrus, Sunshine, Lemongrass and Subtle Woods
+ Scent Strength: Strong

I have no idea wat Subtle Woods are supposed to be but I want to smell them(?

• Earl Grey Tea • Slice of Cake • Vanilla Icing •

“There was a table set out under a tree in front of the house, and the March Hare and the Hatter were having tea at it.”
—Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

+ Notes: Earl Grey, Lemon, Citrus, Vanilla, Rosewood
+ Scent Strength: Strong

• Soft Cozy Throw • Vanilla Bean • Cashmere Cream •
Get cozy with a warm blend of cashmere cream, warm vanilla and caramel woods.

+ Notes: Vanilla Bean, Cashmere Creme, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cider Spice, Apple, Honey
+ Scent Strength: Strong

Finally a candle from the Autumn Special edition, I’ve said it before but autumn is the season to be cozy and this candle is everything it’s supposed to be

Which scents do you wish were candles?
