TTT·Cover blues

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

May 8:

Books With My Favorite Color On the Cover

(or In the Title)
69akqtsCan you guess my favourite colour yet??

Turns out Blue is the most commonly liked colour so I expect to find ten blue books easily.

17798515Before we start (and because it fits the theme) let me tell you about my current read: La Sombra del Viento (The shadow of the Wind) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. This is a mystery and fantasy novel set in Barcelona in 1945, after the Spanish Civil War. It’s about the magic in books and a mysterious library that houses all of the books forgotten throughout history.

[I’ll just post the covers and you can click on them to go on goodreads and know more about the book]

I’ll mark them with icons so you know if:

These were the first ten covers I found!

Have you read any of these? I have most of them on my TBR and just finished Shadow and Bone today.

  1. Leah on the Offbeat and They Both Die At The End ❤
Two books I absolutely love! Hope you will too, haha. 😀
Shadow & Bone and The Hazel Wood are on my TBR; who knows when I'll get to them.. I stopped making promises about that. 😛

Love that we have the same favorite color! 😀

    1. I have officially given up on following my tbr, I just read whatever
I just finished Shadow and bone and will make a review for it soon, only 3 stars though.
Blue is a perfect color and I love it!

      1. I try putting different genres on mine. I noticed it does wonders for me actually sticking to it. To a certain degree, that is.
Oh, boo! I’ll have to check it out to see why the lower rating. 🙂

      2. That’s a good idea! Sometimes i get too caught up on a genre so i burn out. I’m reading Adam Silvera for the first time now😀
There wasnt anything partucularly bad about S&B but I think i came un with too high expectations🙃

      3. Exactly; that’s how I try to avoid falling into that trap, haha. I only read one book by him so far and it made me cry. Afterwards I heard that’s pretty much “normal” for his books so.. yay, haha.
Hm, it is a hyped series. Maybe that did it..

      4. I mean.. the title is literally “They both die at the end” so I’m expecting nothing but tears from this one
I tend to wait for the hype to die down before I tackle a hyped series, just so I don’t have as high expectations

      5. The whole way through I was “I’m not going to cry. I know how it’s going to end. I’m not going to cry.” and I still cried like a baby, haha. The fact that all my emotional preparation was for nothing made me love this book even more though.
You’re so right to do that!
